Bintan Day 1(08 Jan,2008)

another trip that requires us to wake up early morning,and meeting at this random bus stop for nigel's mum to send us to the ferry point somewhere in pasir ris.

the ferry that's fetching us to bintan!only a 45 minutes ride.

the boys bought this amount of tabacoo.in which they have to finish in THREE DAYS!!
we no need to apply for anny visas!and the queue is damn long throught the immigration point!

we stayed at nirwana gardens chalet style!

this place is cheap!!but of course it's sort of rundown,but inside is quite clean,but no kettle!we were seriously saving on water la that 3 days.but the beds are quite comfy and no bed bugs!the aircon's COLD tooooo.

our first lunch!mostly they sell western style food,quite reasonable prices=)

our first water sports!banana boat!haha.it was so hard to balance la!!i keep sliding offffff.

JETSKI!!!!in their first turn,yuhan flew off!!then she grabbed sherwin so hard that he flew off together too!haha.it was hilarious!!
there's this minizoo in the resort,and this HUGE snake,we were really fascinated by it and stood there for eons admiring the fat snake!there are birds and crocodiles and even elephants!!
all the resorts were near to each other so we walk walk and reach the pool of this other resort!!
back to resort chalet for showering and set off to dinnertime!we went back to the resort we found and dine there.
the food was not bad but a little bit expensive.

then they have this programme for the diners,performance and dancing with the performers!trixia sherwin and nigel was dragged in.heh heh.

after dinner,we hail a cab,we love the cab driver by the way!
and went on to a night tour of bintan mangrove to see fireflies!!
we have to climb this dangerous looking building down to the boat!
and before that,they made us sign this!HAHA
the tour was wonderful,windy and under the brillant stars!
went back to the resort's pub and have this drink.housepour whiskey dry,it's DAMN NICE!!!!and super cheap cheap cheap!sherwin drank flaming lambo.
we discovered a giant chess set on the way back

thus the end of our first day!
